What are our Beeswax Wraps made from?

All our wraps are made with love from,

  • Beeswax
  • Tree resin
  • Coconut oil
  • GOTS certified organic cotton

After months of testing, we have created the best possible formula to make sure our wraps are of the highest quality. Perfectly thin, slightly sticky, and long-lasting.

Why use Beeswax Wraps?

There are many good reasons to use beeswax wraps instead of plastic wrap including, being easier to use, keeping your food fresher for longer, not letting your cheese sweat, being antibacterial and just looking and smelling beautiful.

But the main purpose of its invention is because of plastic pollution. Plastic cling wrap is one of the worst single-use plastics which end up somewhere on our planet and stay there for hundred's of years.

Our beeswax wraps will last you around 300 times and at the end of their lives you can either re-wax them, cut them up and throw them in the compost bin or use them as excellent fire starters.

How do I use my Beeswax Wraps?

Our wraps stick to themselves and most materials.

For a bowl or plate, simply wrap it around the edges and use the warmth of your hands to make it stick.

Do the same for your vegetables, fruit, cheese or bread. Simply wrap it around enough to make sure it sticks to itself, once again using the warmth of your hands.

How do I care for my Beeswax Wraps?

Caring for your wraps is simple.

Just rinse off with cool water after use (feel free to use mild dishwashing liquid) and hang dry or lay over your pots & pans to dry.

Make sure to get the maximum life out of your wraps by avoiding any contact with heat. No microwave, no dishwasher.
